Imageware Authenticate Overview

Imageware Authenticate is a mobile biometric authentication service or application to verify a user's identity through their Android or iOS mobile device prior to gaining access to secured physical or digital sites or processing transactions. Users enroll their face, voice, palm, or other biometrics and then use those biometrics much like a password.#

Imageware Authenticate works with GMI secure server application layer and biometric storage service, delivering fast, accurate identity verification to protect:

Imageware Authenticate was built with security and ease-of-use in mind. We incorporate anonymous, multi-modal, multi-factor biometric security on-the-go and off-device to ensure that sensitive information is secure, even in cases of device theft. This document provides an overview of how Imageware Authenticate functions. Refer to the GMI server API documentation for the specific server methods referenced in this document, and the GMI Tenant Reference Guide for how tenants incorporate the Imageware Authenticate service or application into their own systems.#

  • Register a User: Tenants must provide their users with a valid User ID
