Biometric Engine Overview

The Biometric Engine is a scalable, agnostic identity management server solution. Supporting different biometric modalities, including face, fingerprints, iris, and more, Biometric Engine enables system integrators and software developers to build custom identity verification and identification applications or to incorporate the biometric enrollment, search and authentication functionality into existing solutions.

Biometric Engine Achitecture

Using one or more biometric modalities the Biometric Engine conducts:

• 1:1 biometric matching to verify an individual’s identity
• 1:N searching to identify an individual within a population.

The nature of the Biometric Engine means it works with any biometric algorithm and with image samples collected by any hardware from nearly every vendor. Biometric Engine can be deployed on both Windows and Linux platform.
