Device | An Android or iOS (Apple) phone or tablet used for both enrollment and verification of a user's biometric identity. |
Enrollment | The process of collecting and storing a user's biometric data on Imageware's servers for use with future verifications. |
Register | The process of gathering a user's basic information and triggering an initial second method of identity validation before enrolling their unique biometrics for use with Imageware Authenticate. |
Tenant | The company, agency, or business entity that uses Imageware's GMI server application layer to manage employee or customer biometric data for enhanced site and account security. User | An individual whose identity the tenant wishes to authenticate using a registered mobile device. |
Verification | The ongoing process of capturing a user's biometrics on a mobile device and matching that against the stored biometric data collected during registration and enrollment. |
