Law Enforcement Suite 2.0 Overview

Imageware Law Enforcement Suite 2.0 is a browser-based solution for enrolling, identifying, and investigating individuals for criminal and civil purposes. It includes:#

  • Imageware Capture: Captures biographic and biometric information for individuals and suspects, supporting nearly any type of transaction (ToT). Vendor agnostic, it can work with any vendor’s capture hardware and algorithms for on-device biometric matching.
  • Imageware Identify: Our robust biometric searching and matching solution based on the powerful, patented, and award-winning Imageware Biometric Engine.
  • Imageware Investigate: Conduct digital lineups and other web-based investigations against your enrolled database.

Imageware Law Enforcement Suite provides a modern, browser-based user interface that enables access to the application from anywhere. The current implementation is geared primarily towards law enforcement, with features such as capturing of biometrics, booking, digital lineups and EBTS background check transactions. However, it could be used for civil applicants as well with just a simple configuration change.#

Imageware Law Enforcement Suite also supports a user-permissions model with role-based access control along with full auditing.#

The complete LE2 API is still in its evolutionary phase and in the upcoming weeks more content will be provided.

    Details about how captured data must conform to Agency Specific requirements.
    A section dedicated to Agency Config and JFD and how it defines the deployment.
    Details about how the captured data must conform to certain general restrictions (e.g., image formats and dimensions, required image metadata, etc.).

  • Search API
    How to get at the enrolled identities, including advanced search functionality.

  • Investigate API
    How to create, edit, view and export digital lineups.

  • User Management API
    How to add and modify users and permissions.

  • Transaction Management API
    How to submit and monitor state and federal level civil and criminal background checks.

  • Identify API
    Perform 1:N biometric identification searches against the enrolled identities.
